CryptoCardex

Physical card

One metal card, posted to your door

It pays in shops, it pays online, and it takes cash out of a machine. Opened with an email, topped up in USDT.

CryptoCardex metal card

The cashier sees a metal card.
Nothing on it mentions crypto.

The card itself

One price, paid once. The metal card, the personalising and the post to your address are all inside it, and nothing is added at the end.

Everything the Apple Pay card does, plus

  • Metal card with the post already in the price
  • Cash at machines worldwide, one percent of the amount
  • Hand it to the cashier like any bank card
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay on the same card

Good to know

  • The post takes 7 to 14 working days

Three things the others cannot do

The virtual cards live on a screen. This one exists, and that is the whole difference.

Cash at any machine Put the card in a machine anywhere in the world and take dollars out. One percent of the amount, nothing on top of it.
Over the counter Hand it to a cashier, tap it on a reader or push it into a terminal. A phone is no longer part of the transaction.
Metal, not plastic It has weight to it, and your name is cut into the surface rather than printed on top of it.

Next to the other two

Same issuer, same network, same three percent on a top up. The bottom four rows are what you are paying the difference for.

Only need to pay online and in apps? The two virtual cards cost a tenth of this and work in two minutes. They sit on the virtual card page.

How to order it from the home page

Four steps, no phone call and no approval queue. The only wait is the post at the end.

01

Press Get your card

The button sits in the first screen of the home page and at the top right of every page.

02

Register with an email

An email address and a password. No passport, no selfie, no proof of address.

03

Pick the metal card

Choose the physical card and type the address it should go to. The post is already inside the price.

04

Pay in crypto

Send USDT on the chain you prefer. The card is made up and posted, and you follow it from your account.

Questions about the metal card.

How long does it take to arrive?

Seven to fourteen working days once the payment lands. The posting is already covered by the price, so nothing else is charged at the end and there is no separate delivery line to pay.

Where do you post it?

Anywhere in the world. You type the address during the order, and the same price covers the post whichever country it goes to.

What does taking cash out cost?

One percent of the amount you withdraw, at any machine that takes cards. The machine itself may add its own charge, which it shows you on the screen before you agree to it.

Do I send documents for this one?

An email address and the address to post the card to. No passport, no selfie and no bank account, the same as for the two virtual cards.

What do I use while it is in the post?

Open a virtual card and use it straight away. It costs $49.99, works in about two minutes and stays yours afterwards, so people often keep it for online payments once the metal card arrives.

Why is it so much more than the virtual cards?

Because it is a physical object. The price covers the metal card itself, personalising it and posting it to your address anywhere in the world. After that it costs nothing a month, exactly like the other two.
