Cookie Policy
The pages you are reading set no cookies. Here is everything that appears once you log in, and nothing is hidden from this list.
The short version
The pages you are reading now set no cookies at all. Nothing is stored on your device while you browse the public site. Cookies appear only when you log in or register, and the ones we then set are listed below.
We do not run advertising trackers, we do not run analytics on these pages, and we do not sell anything about your visit.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep, so that the next request can be recognised as yours. Without one, a site cannot tell that you are the same person who logged in a moment ago.
What we set, and when
These are set on the login and registration pages and inside your account, not on the public pages:
| Cookie | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
| PHPSESSID | Keeps you logged in as you move between pages. Without it you would be asked for your password on every click. | Until you close the browser |
| izi_ft | Remembers which link brought you to us, so we can tell which pages are worth keeping. It holds no personal data. | 90 days |
| izi_dev | Your device time zone and browser language, used to work out which country to show prices and content for. | Session |
| g_state | Set by Google when the "sign in with Google" option is offered, to remember whether you dismissed it. | Set by Google |
All of these are necessary for the account to work or for us to understand which pages people use. None of them follows you to other websites.
Other requests your browser makes
Our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts and brand icons from a public icon service. These are files, not trackers, and they set no cookies here. Loading any externally hosted file does tell its provider your IP address, which is true of every website that uses one.
If you choose to sign in with Google, Google's own terms and cookies apply to that step.
How to control them
Every browser lets you see, block and delete cookies in its settings. Blocking the session cookie will stop you from logging in, because there would be no way for the site to know who you are between one page and the next. Blocking the others has no effect on your ability to use the service.
If this changes
If we ever add analytics or anything that follows you beyond our own site, we will ask for your consent before setting it, and this page will say so on the day it happens. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
